Indonesia

Here I am at an Islamic international school in Bandung in Indonesia. All the children made me feel very welcome, here I am joining in the PE lesson.

All the lessons are taught in English, they go to school 7:00am - 3:15pm, and they wear a different colour uniform each day.

The children are very musical and play lots of instruments. Here I am learning about computers and IT.

The older children live in a boarding house attached to the school. Some go home at weekends but most live too far away so only see their families in the holidays.

At lunch time they go to the local street sellers and eat rice and spicy sauces.

The children in Indonesia go to school from the age of 6 until they are 18.

I have made lots of new friends and taken some great photos for my logbook. I think I am going to enjoy staying in Indonesia!
